Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how QuickIPCheck.com ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use our website. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account or submit any personal information to use QuickIPCheck.com. The browser details shown on the page (browser type, operating system, language, and timezone) are read directly from your device using standard browser APIs and are not transmitted to our servers.

Third-party IP lookup — ipapi.co: To display your public IP address and approximate location, our page makes a request to ipapi.co, a third-party IP geolocation service. This is the one exception to local-only processing. When this request is made, ipapi.co receives your IP address as part of the standard HTTP request. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policy at ipapi.co/privacy. We do not store or log the IP or location data ourselves.

Google Analytics (GA4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, and general geographic region. This data is aggregated and used to improve the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. To learn more about how Google uses data, visit policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this site. Google AdSense uses DoubleClick cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or by visiting aboutads.info/choices.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Analytics: Google Analytics uses cookies to track visits and usage patterns.
  • Advertising: Google AdSense uses cookies (including DoubleClick cookies) to deliver relevant ads.
  • Preferences: We store your cookie consent choice in your browser's local storage.

You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions vary by browser:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data

Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some features on this and other websites.

Data retention

We do not store your IP address or personal data on our servers. Analytics data collected by Google is retained according to Google's own data retention policies, which you can configure in your Google Analytics account settings. Advertising data is managed by Google per their privacy policy.

Third-party links

This site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

QuickIPCheck.com is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we do not store personal data on our servers, most GDPR requests can be addressed by managing your Google account settings or browser cookies directly. For any other concerns, contact us at contact@quickipcheck.com.

Your rights under CCPA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information is collected about you, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. For inquiries, contact us at contact@quickipcheck.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
